How to become "FACT®-Certified"?

Once the factory completes the curriculum and passes the training requirement, it will be designated as “FACT-Certified.”  That is, it has taken active and demonstrable steps to protecting its workers--and thereby its standing in the supply chain.

 Benefits of becoming "FACT®-Certified"
  • Workers are informed about the risks of forced labor in industrial zones and given the tools and knowledge to keep themselves safe.

  • Factories increase worker retention, worker morale and stabilize the workforce.

  • Brands and retailers who source from FACT-Certified factories will be in compliance with national and international laws regarding trafficking and slavery in the global supply chain such as the 2010 California Transparency in Supply Chain Act (SB 657), 2015 UK Modern Slavery Act, 2017 French Corporate Duty of Vigilance Law and 2018 Australia Modern Slavery Act.
